actions do not reflect the content of Mr. Bernhardt’s book,
which is premised on the teachings of Christ; loving-kindness, tolerance, personal
responsibility
and the admonition, “As you sow, so shall ye reap.” Mr. Bernhardt’s life and
work was dedicated to the uplifting of humanity…
and the details of this tragedy could not be further from the aims of the author.
We
have confirmed through contact with the Grail Movement in the Czech Republic,
that the people arraigned for the abuse of their children are not a part of
the Grail Movement;
they were involved with a group headed by Joseph Skria who was banned from the
Grail Movement in 1996.
This fact came out in the trial and is a matter of public record. Thus attempts
by the press to connect
the Grail Movement with the crimes committed in the Czech Republic are unfortunate
and incorrect.
There
have been various groups formed after Mr. Bernhardt’s passing in 1941,
some of which go by the name “Grail Movement,”
and it has been their primary purpose to generate awareness for the writings
of Mr. Bernhardt.
This
publisher and the Grail Movement associated with it, has not formed a new religion
or cult as some reports have indicated.
Rather, this Grail Movement is a loosely-knit gathering of peaceable individuals
who are dedicated
to making the world a better place and we categorically reject and denounce
this accused woman’s actions and any association with them.
Our
thoughts and prayers are with the children of this family,
and all those who have been harmed by the inhumane actions of the individuals
accused in this matter.

The Grail Movement is an informal union of people who wish to live their lives by the Principles of In the Light of Truth: The Grail Message, by Abd-ru-shin. The Grail Movement is represented in many countries.
The organization of the Grail Movement is limited to a minimum. There is no membership, and there is no attempt at solicitation. There are no ties entailing obligations either between adherents of In the Light of Truth: The Grail Message, or with regard to the Movement. Supporting the establishment of hours of joint worship for the veneration of God is an important task of the Grail Movement. It also contributes to the development of true humanity on the basis of the Message of Christ and of the Grail Message.
